Elaina was sharing some results from our perceived stress project, describing the role of stimulus evoked catastrophizing underlying the relationship between perceived stress and enhanced pain sensitivity! And she placed 2nd in the undergraduate competition!! Congrats to Elaina for an amazing job!!!

Laboratory undergrads Jessica and Madilynn presented part of their undergrad theses at A&M's Student Research Week!
Jessica presented her findings showing the impact of brief Acceptance and Commitment Therapy on self-report and physiological markers of pain and emotion responses. Madilynn presented her findings showing the impact of brief mindfulness based interventions on a battery of laboratory pain measures.
